FAQ

Digital Download Prints

Where do I print my digital image files?

You could print your images at your local printing store, use online printing service, or use your home printer.

Most popular online printing companies are Walgreens, Staples,
Vistaprint, Walmart, Target, Snapfish etc. We recommend professional printing on heavyweight Fine Art Paper using Matte or slightly textured
finish to make vintage artwork look like a real painting.

I'm looking for a particular size to print, how do I find out which file to use?

One of listing images for a digital download product is a table which lists all the files you can print as well as which files to use for a particular size. For you convenience we reproduced it here:

File 1 to print 4x6", 6x9", 8x12", 10x15", 12x18", 16x24", 20x30", 24x36".

File 2 to print 6x8", 9x12", 12x16", 15x20", 18x24".

File 3 to print 4x5", 8x10", 12x15", 16x20".

File 4 to print 5x7", A5 (5.8x8.3"), A4 (8.3x11.7"), A3 (11.7x16.5"), A2 (16.5x23.4").

File 5 to print 11x14".

What is the best paper to print my digital download image?

Very good question. The quality of your artwork depends heavily on the paper you choose. General recommendation is to print on Matte File Art Paper. For the best possible results choose slightly textured Cotton Fine Art Paper. The feedback we are getting that prints on that paper look like real paintings.

What is the biggest size I can print digital download images? Can I print images bigger than the stated biggest size?

Good question. For most our images the biggest size to print is 24x36" (File1). However, there are some exceptions, please double check (one of listing photos has a list of sizes for this particular image, usually biggest size is in File1, but sometimes it's File2.).

How do I download my digital files?

After the payment, you'll receive e-mail confirmation with the link to download your files.

Do I need a Google Drive/ Dropbox/other Clouds account?

No, you don't.

Can I download my files later?

No. Please download your files to your computer immediately after purchase, in any event, not later than 2 days. It is because we rotate our collection on a daily basis and some products may be disconnected to allow space for new collection.

I can't seem to find an image I saw on your social media account, can you help me locate it?

Sure, just drop us a line, better with a screenshot.

Physical Prints

What sizes of physical prints do you do?

We only print the following sizes: A5 (5.8x8.3"), A4 (8.3x11.7"), A3 (11.7x16.5"), A2 (16.5x23.4") and 16x20".

Please bear in mind, that sizes A5 and 16x20" always come with a small 5mm (0.2") border for framing. Please ask if you'd like a bigger border.

The rest of our sizes, namely A4, A3 and A2 are borderless by default. It means that the ink bleeds from edge to edge. However, from experience of printing thousanths of images we found that prints look better with a white border, which makes images to stand out. Our recommendation is 2.5-3" border for A2 and 16x20" and around 1" for A3.

I don't know which paper to use, can you help with that?

The best paper to print is Cotton Fine Art Paper. The feedback we keep getting is that prints on it look like real paintings. The best result's achieved by printing on Cotton Fine Art Paper with white border.

Second best is Matte Fine Art Paper. This is an all-rounder paper and fits all purposes.

Third choice is Semi-Gloss (Satin) Fine Art Paper. This is a very good quality Fine Art Paper. The reflecting feature of it makes prints look more modern and brighter than 2 other papers we have.

I've never bought a Fine Art Print before. Where do I start?
